Cirrus Flight Training in Minnesota
At Twin Cities Flight Training, we offer flight school training for Cirrus aircraft models. Because Cirrus training is so unique, we are one of the only schools in the Upper Midwest to offer this level of training. Or Cirrus flight training includes:

- Flight review training
At Twin Cities Flight Training, we have one of the largest fleets of Cirrus aircraft in the upper Midwest. Pilots can choose from a wide selection of Cirrus aircraft to fly because our fleet is designed for all skill levels and interests. No matter where you are in your education or experience, we have a Cirrus waiting for you to take to the skies. Contact us today to find out about all of our current models available.
The Cirrus SR20
Cirrus aircraft are among the most technologically advanced single-engine aircraft in the flight industry. Cirrus offers glass panels, modern avionics, leather interiors, and safety design of the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System.
Twin Cities Flight Training uses the SR20 as its Primary Instrument Trainer in the 141 school. However, the SR20 makes an excellent platform for students looking to earn their Private or Commercial Certificates in a glass cockpit aircraft.
The Cirrus SR22
The SR22 is the SR20’s big brother. Identical avionics, size, and feel to the SR20, the conversion from the SR20 to the SR22 is quick, easy, and comfortable. 310 horse power gives the SR22 173kts of true airspeed at 8000 feet burning 17 GPH and over 1300lbs of useful load, makes this aircraft a true cross-country machine. Twin Cities has two SR22’s available for training and rental.
Chapter 141 Flight Training
The Cirrus SR20 is the primary aircraft we use for our 141 instrument training program. Students who enroll in our 141 instrument training program and opt to use the SR20 save up to $4,000 in transition costs. That alone makes the SR20 a great choice for flight students.
We are one of only two Chapter 141 schools in the Twin Cities area. This means all our instructors are qualified to provide premier aviation training available from the FAA. In fact, with the Chapter 141 accreditation, all of our classes and instructors are FAA-certified and capable of training any level of pilot.
Students who enroll in our Twin Cities Flight Training Airplane 141 Instrument program will complete all FAR prerequisite requirements by completing the Instrument Course Syllabus. The Syllabus requires 35 hours of flight time. In most cases, students complete the program in under 40 hours of flight time.
